1. About these terms
These terms apply to all interior finishing and property improvement services provided by Innovate Studio Ltd (“we”, “us”) to residential customers. By accepting a written quotation from us you agree to these terms.
2. Quotations and pricing
All quotations are free, written and itemised, and are valid for 30 days. Prices quoted are fixed for the scope described; variations (additional work, hidden repairs discovered mid-job, or client-requested changes) are agreed with you in writing before they are carried out and charged accordingly.
3. Booking and payment
A deposit secures your agreed start date. The balance is due on completion, after the final walk-through. We accept bank transfer and card payments. Late payments may attract interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
4. Scheduling and access
We confirm start and finish dates in writing. Where access to the property is delayed by circumstances outside our control, dates shift by the same duration and we will agree revised dates with you promptly.
5. Guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship. If a defect in our work appears within 12 months of completion and results from our materials or labour, we will rectify it at no charge. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not cover fair wear and tear, client-supplied materials, or third-party work.
6. Liability
We hold full public liability insurance. Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the works, except where the law does not permit such limitation. We are not liable for pre-existing defects unless agreed in the quotation scope.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel up to 7 days before the scheduled start date for a full deposit refund. Cancellations inside 7 days may forfeit the deposit to cover reserved labour and materials.
